Life with mistakes….

‘A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing’- George Bernard Shaw.

Are you the one who keeps on doing mistakes? Are you the one, who always tries to do well but the result is always contradictory? Now pinch yourself and come back to reality, I know you are hoping for same kind of magical product which can make things fall back to places. But you are also intelligent enough to know that such things do not exist no matter what, at least till now.
So, you have committed some mistake and now you are probably embarrassed about it and searching for the ways to overcome it. This is the one reason you are reading this article, and reading the above quote already made you feel good about it. But hey, you are not here just to feel good, you are here in a search, a search for solution, a search for the answer and a search for something that will help you to correct your mistakes. Congratulate yourself for doing so, because this proves that you are not the one who depends upon circumstances, you are a proactive individual who wants to make things happen, that’s why you made those mistakes too. Let me be sincere with you, this article is not about finding solution for a particular mistake as that will be unfeasible to do so considering the fact that there are so many types of mistakes people commits. But the following points will some what assist you to find that sense of balance and solidity in your thoughts which is a vital element to deal with your situation. So keep reading.

Nobody is perfect: - Yes it is true; I have not seen any individual in this world who has not done a single mistake in his life. So what are you so embarrassed about. Common cheer up, its just human nature, we are not god after all, what has happened we cannot change it, so what is the point in dwelling upon the thought of embarrassment and guiltiness. In fact I have seen that even the individuals to whom we calls ‘The Great Ones’ has also done so many thwarting things in life. Take for example the lives of legends like, Mahatma Gandhi or Benjamin Franklin. Do we remember them for there blunders, No! Not at all, but for the great deeds they did for their community.  The point here is if your mistakes are incurable than just don’t dwell on it, just move ahead and do something superior or accomplish something great that will outshine your faults.

Blessing in disguise:- Mistakes a lot of time are not as awful as they seem, and even when they are, they also gives us the opportunity to grow stronger, to realize ourselves, and the best part, to recognize those around us. Yes, we also finds a lot about people whom we call loved once, whether its our friends, families, co-workers. The way they respond or behave with you during this face of your life clearly states their faithfulness and love for you. Apart from all this, mistakes of few individuals have made many scientific discoveries and inventions in this world. I will not go in much detail of that, but the point here is to tell you that mistake can be a stepping stone for your next best inventions, just keep experimenting.

When Sh*t happens, turn it into fertilizer: - I could have used the lemonade example but it’s not the word that comes out of our mouth when we commit a mistake. It’s the ‘S’ word. Right! Okay the quote here is not essential, what is important is that how you use your situation for your benefit from here on. If you’ll listen to successful people most of the time they will not talk about the things they have achieved but the mistakes they have done and the hardship they have gone through in their lives, this also helps them to generate more followers. Well their objective is not that though, but still they know how to use such things for their advantage. So it’s your job now to analyze the things in your life, create it into a byproduct and sell it. Because you have been their and done that. If you have just overcome drug addiction, just go ahead and help others to do so, if your relationship is broken because of you, than teach others what not to do in a relationship, if you have lied to somebody just go and tell them the truth before they finds out themselves, this will help you to preserve that trust in their eyes if the person is really understanding. Just somehow stop thinking about what has happened and think about what good can come out of it.  As John Maxwell once said ‘A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them and strong enough to correct them.’

Life Goes on: - Mistakes can be awful and embarrassing at this point in your lives, but years later, these collection of mistakes are called experience. And it is this collection of experiences that helps us to understand our life and world around us making us stronger, better and understanding person. No matter who you are and what you are, things will still go wrong in our life, mistakes will still happen, but just don’t repeat the same mistake twice, forgive yourself but don’t forget, learn from it and move on as life goes on.

I hope these small advises might help you to deal with your situation, but at the end of the day if anybody can help you is you yourself. You already have what it takes to deal with it. No matter how many article, books or quotes you read your search for that peace will never end unless until you start searching at the right place i.e. within.
